Download the demo

The download is the full application. Without a key it runs as the free demo with a sample workspace; a Beginner or Pro key from pricing unlocks the rest in Settings → Licence. Latest version: 0.4.0-beta.13 (changelog).

Windows

The Windows build is in preparation and is not available yet. It will arrive through the Microsoft Store, which signs it, with a direct-download zip for people who prefer that.

How to open it

Step by step, dialog by dialog: macOS 13 to 26 · Windows Store and zip.

macOS 13 or later

  1. Pick the download for your chip. Apple menu → About This Mac shows “Apple M…” (Apple Silicon) or “Intel”. The other one will not launch.
  2. Open the DMG and drag yourfinance to Applications.
  3. If the build is not notarized, the first launch shows “Apple could not verify…”. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the message about yourfinance and choose Open Anyway, then confirm. On macOS 13 and 14 you can instead right-click the app in Applications and choose Open. This is needed once.
  4. Notarized builds open without any dialog; the signing state is shown under each download.

Windows 10 or 11

  1. Store install: open the listing, press Get, launch from the Start menu. The Store signs the package; there is no warning.
  2. Direct zip (when offered): unzip anywhere, run yourfinance.exe. Because the zip is unsigned, SmartScreen shows “Windows protected your PC”: choose More info → Run anyway. Check the SHA-256 below first.

Compare before you open: shasum -a 256 <file> on macOS, certutil -hashfile <file> SHA256 on Windows.
